The TAFCA AGM will take place on Thursday 15th May at Stobswell Sports Club, Raglan Street, Dundee (Castlehill's venue) at 7.30. All members of TAFCA are welcome.

Congratulations to George Robertson of Perth who has won the Most Improved Junior award for this season.

 

The TAFCA Committee recently held its usual post-season meeting. Minutes here.

Congratulations to Glenrothes A who beat Castlehill A in the final match of the season to secure the Championship. Final  Results and tables available.

 

The TAFCA Committee will hold their usual post-season, pre-AGM meeting soon. If you have any matters you wish to be discussed, including and proposals for the AGM, please let me know asap.

The Fair City Chess Challenge took place on Sunday 16th March, 10 until 5 pm. Prizewinners available on the CS website.

 

Congratulations to Castlehill C who won the Handicap Knockout by beating Glenrothes B 5 - 3 in the Final.

The Perth & Kinross Chess Festival took place 25 - 27 Jan. Results and grading performances on the CS website details here.

 

The first Carse of Gowrie Allegro took place on 25th November. Results at the club's website grading performances on the CS website

 

Welcome to the new season. Unfortunately we only have 13 teams this season so there will be just one division. The season will be extended in order to cope with the extra fixtures. Hopefully we can return to two divisions next season. Full fixtures and contacts are now available on the League page.
